Scentsy Story
I joined Scentsy in January of 2014 to earn some extra income. I had a large amount of debt from my college years that was not budging- even though I was making the monthly payments- and I had been out of school and working full time for almost 5 years! I also have a young daughter and a husband that I want to spend time with, so a “regular” part-time job with a set schedule was not a good option for me. I was looking for some flexibility and that’s when Scentsy came into the picture... It was a perfect fit! I could earn extra cash just by sharing the products I was already in love with!
Fast forward to 2020, and my "Why" has changed a bit. During the Covid-19 pandemic & quarantine, I discovered that I really like working from home. So my new goal is to make Scentsy my full time job! I am really excited to make my own schedule with my Scentsy biz too!
I started on this journey to get out of debt- and we are nearly there! It is still wonderful to get those monthly emails saying “Your Scentsy Pay is now available” but it is not the reason that keeps me going. The main reason I continue to stay with Scentsy, and push forward to grow my business, is because I now LOVE this company just as much as I LOVE the products! Scentsy has given me the opportunity to give back to my community with fundraisers. Scentsy has given me the possibility to know some amazing people that I would likely never have met otherwise. I have grown relationships that I probably would have ignored if it weren’t for the easy conversations that come from chatting about our favorite Scentsy products. I have also grown on a personal level. I am no longer that shy woman who was afraid to do home parties or talk to new people- at least not AS afraid! I set goals and I go after them. I usually reach them too, thanks to all the support from my awesome teammates.
